Meet Guest Artist Melissa Winters

Melissa has been a lifelong “maker of things”. The pieces she makes come from a love of mixed media art. Many items in her work are found items or upcycled and she is often inspired by the hours she spent with her depression-era grandmother for whom repurposing items was part of life. She finds herself drawn to resin and the glass-like quality it possesses, and likes the idea of suspending thoughts and feelings inside it. Like a time capsule.

Melissa's work will be on sale at the gallery through June 30th. So be sure to stop in soon!

Meet Guest Artist Kathy Anderson

Kathy Anderson is a visual artist who paints vibrant landscapes in acrylics.

As a landscape artist her aim is to capture the magic of the moment that people so often miss in the busy hustle and bustle of their lives. Because she has always loved nature and loves being outdoors in all seasons, she derives inspiration from the vistas which influence her colors, compositions and lighting.

“My goal as an artist is to keep stretching, improving and re-inventing myself. As long as I am breathing I am sure that I wil l never be without inspiration for my paintings as our beautiful world is so amazing and visually exciting!” - Kathy

Call for Member Artists! Join us at the gallery!

Our gallery is a co-op. This means we don’t have employees and the day to day running of the gallery is done by our member artists. In addition to working at the desk and behind the scenes, member artists pay $100 a month plus 10% commission on the artwork they sell.

Member artists have a permanent place in the gallery so long as they continue to pay their membership fees and fulfill their work requirements. So you always have a place to show your work.

You need to be a working artist. That doesn’t mean that you’re a professional artist or that it’s your main source of income. Just that you are actively working on your art and producing new work. We want the gallery to be a dynamic art space.
