What a novel and creative idea!

No art experience? No problem! 🎨 Our Paint-by-Numbers Mural on October 9 is designed for everyone. A pro muralist will map out the colors and design; you pick up a brush and paint! 🖌
It’s easy, fun, and something we can create together. Every brushstroke adds to the bigger picture, and when we’re done, we can all say, “We helped make that!” 👏👏👏
Come paint with us! Bring your friends, kids, and neighbors. No artistic talent required...just show up👨‍🎨❣👩🏾‍🎨❣👨🏾‍🎨❣👩‍🎨❣

🎨 13 students had a blast creating sunsets and sunrises with oil-based pastels 🌅 at the free Art Workshop at the Center for the Arts on Saturday!
Artist and educator Laura Stennerson 👩‍🎨 led the enthusiastic class with plenty of kudos from all 👏 as they each completed a new work of art. 🖼️✨
There is no limit to our collective creativity!

Could you create this beautiful outdoor artistry in Globe—using many of the plants you see here? Absolutely. Wouldn’t teaching you how to create something like this be a cool class to attend at the Center for the Arts?

Looking for a detailed description of the upcoming Cemetery Tour? Here are all the nuances from Molly and Globe Historic Downtown. Photo by Cathi Cenatiempo from the 2025 Cemetery Tour.

Tickets: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/repast-and-remember-globes-italian-neighborhoods

The Cemetery Tour for 2026, is a hybrid test-version of our regular annual event. Repast: Meal/Dining/An after-funeral meal gathering…

“Repast & Remember”, our first hybrid event & in Italian theme. (If it goes over well as a Fall event, additional themes on the table include Miners, Cowboys & Ranchers, Chinese, Mexican, military and so many more. ~and of course in no particular order other than Cemetery proximity to each other etc

What to expect for the 9/26/26 event:

With the very limited guest count, guests will be meeting on historic Bones St (known as Jones St since the early 1900’s). From there, the first part of the evening will feel like a normal Cemetery Tour, with smaller groupings of guests moving from station moving meeting and hearing stories from some of the evenings main actors.

From there guests will find a surprise gathering and as they all segway into a full theatrical & dining experience. The jazz band will be on hand, members of the choir, vintage cars, photo-ops throughout many decades of time. Think tablecloths, historic local recipes, and conversations around Globe‘s historic Italian neighborhoods, brought right to your table. It will be an experience to remember.

The $75/person ticket price supports the cost of the food, the Globe Downtown Association’s preservation projects, in addition to the Copper Cities Community Players and courthouse theater’s renovation projects.

We also have been blessed with an additional partnership this year with the GHSAA/ Globe High School Alumni Association who have been working diligently to launch a series titled “Stories from Copper Hills”. Such a joy to have them along, and we are loving that Globe high school is inner woven into many of our characters lives as well.

Includes a sit-down multi-course dinner in the Cemetery, in addition to the Italian themed tour.
