Friday night football has always been at the heart of family life in Gamewell. It's been put on hold for a while, but the museum has your memories ready to view. Open this Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00.

Drop by this coming Sunday, July 12, between two and four to get a better look at these Overmountain Men's badges. The Overmountain Men marched past our location in 1780 on the way to the Battle of King's Mountain. Re-enactors marched past in 1978. And here we are, waiting for the next marchers.

Happy 250 to America. Look at this 200th birthday remembrance we have in the window of our museum. Seems like yesterday when we were celebrating the bicentennial.

Come look at the graduation pictures we have. This one is the bicentennial year, 1976. Now fifty years later, they celebrate again! We're open Sunday, June 14 from two to four. Do drop in!
