Don't forget! The October Art Crawl is this Thursday, October 15, 5pm - 7pm in Downtown Morganton, and I am happy to welcome Kat Evans as our guest artist at Hamilton Williams Gallery & Studio.
Evans is a photographer, mixed media artist, and instructor who lives in Western North Carolina. Her current work centers on alternative photographic processes, especially cyanotype printing. Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic methods, using sunlight and a light-sensitive coating to make deep blue prints. For Evans, it brings together her twin passions of photography and nature.
