Some notable stats from the 2020 season...
Cam Newton finished the season with 592 rushing yards - most by a QB in Patriots history. His 12 rushing TDs tied Steve Grogan’s team record for single-season rushing TDs by a QB and he became the first Pats QB to catch a TD pass.
Punt returner Gunner Olszewski’s 17.3 yard per punt return led the NFL in 2020 and set a Patriots single-season franchise record. He had 20 returns for 346 yards.
Punter Jake Bailey’s net (45.6 yards per punt) and gross (48.7 ypp) set Patriots single-season franchise records. The Patriots allowed 71 punt return yards this season - fewest in team history.
The Patriots 2,376 rushing yards and 4.67 yards per rush average in 2020 were both 4th most in team history.
JC Jackson’s nine interceptions in 2020 tied for third most in team history with Ty Law (1998). Ron Hall had 11 in 1964 and Asante Samuel had 10 in 2006.
