Gallery 440 A Near Southside Fort Worth Art Gallery featuring
regional artists and modern art. For more information please visit. http://gallery440.com

Gallery 440 was birthed when fine art enthusiast, Jennifer Henderson, put her personal collection of mid century modern and contemporary paintings on display for Fort Worth’s Gallery Night. Trained in fine art painting herself, Jennifer collects rare pieces of art from local to internationally celebrated artists. Due to the enormous success of her first Gallery Night exhibition, Jennifer has made her collection available online. In addition to the permanent collection, Gallery 440 will highlight work from local featured artists. Take a look around and you’re sure to find the perfect piece of art for your home or office.

And just like that, Theoria Ornamentalis comes to a close. ✨

Thank you to everyone who visited, celebrated, asked questions, looked a little closer, and spent time with the wonderfully mesmerizing world of Douglas Cason.

And, of course, a very special thank you to Doug for filling Gallery 440 with wit, mythology, beauty, absurdity and more than a few unforgettable characters.

We’ve loved having this exhibition on our walls and sharing it with Fort Worth over the past few months.

Until next time, Doug. 🖤

Straight from the sketchbook ✏️

Sometimes the work that catches your eye isn’t hanging on the wall — it’s hiding between the pages.

These two original sketches by Douglas Cason were spotted in his personal book of drawings and found themselves a new home. We love seeing the spontaneous, exploratory side of an artist’s practice become something a collector gets to take home.

Proof that at Gallery 440, you never know what you might discover. 👀

What a beautiful evening celebrating LeeAnn Olivier and Chimera. ✨📖

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Gallery 440 for LeeAnn’s book signing and made the evening so special. Between the conversations, poetry, and the chance to hear LeeAnn share her work in her own voice, the night felt intimate, thoughtful, and full of connection.

A little look back at LeeAnn Oliver reading during last year’s GOOD MORNING/MOURNING AMERICA — and a beautiful reminder of the voice behind the words.

Tonight, LeeAnn returns to Gallery 440 for a special book signing celebrating Chimera. We’re sharing one of her poems today as a glimpse into her work: intimate, thoughtful, and meant to be heard as much as read.

Join us tonight, August 21, from 5–8 PM to meet LeeAnn, hear more about Chimera, and celebrate an evening of poetry, art, and conversation at Gallery 440.
