SCHEDULE UPDATE: The Fort Smith Trolley Museum will be open today from 1–5 PM, but trolley rides will not be operating.

Yesterday was one for the record books! We had an incredible day at the Fort Smith Fall Festival, giving 1,300 FREE trolley rides! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to ride with us and to our wonderful operators and volunteers who helped make it all happen!

After a record-setting day, we think the trolleys (and our operators!) have earned a little downtime. 😉
Thank you, Fort Smith, for a fantastic day! ❤️

Nice to see some of our Board Members and Volunteers assisting the Arkansas Railroad Museum! We wish them the best of luck with the restoration of Cotton Belt #819! It's thanks to donations and volunteers that Arkansas Rail Preservation keeps on rolling!

This weekend our volunteers have been busy trimming trees and clearing branches around the overhead conductor that supplies power to our historic trolleys.

It’s just one of the many jobs that goes into keeping our historic trolley system operating and preserving a piece of Fort Smith’s transportation history.

Want to help support the museum and keep the trolley on track? Consider donating: https://www.fstrolley.org/support-us/donations/

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on the progress of the Charles Winters Memorial Library remodel!
The new paint and flooring are looking fantastic, and it’s exciting to see this space starting to come back to life. We still have a TON of work ahead of us, but this is a major milestone that we wanted to share with all of you.
This project is just one part of the continued work being done to improve the Fort Smith Trolley Museum, and allow us to preserve rail history, and tell the story of Fort Smith Transportation for years to come.
Once the building remodel is complete, we look forward to celebrating with a Grand Reopening of the Museum! 🚋🎉
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated, and supported the work happening at the museum. We couldn't have done it without you! If you'd like to donate towards this or our many other projects please visit:
