Washed Organic Guama Danta Coffee from Honduras
Comayagua is the most productive and diverse of Honduras’ 15 coffee producing regions. This bountiful growing region is home to coffee farms with practically every possible microclimate, and this Guama Danta lot is just one example of the nuanced and complex options coming out of this multifarious region.
Many farmers in Comayagua contributed to this coffee, and they all go above and beyond to hone their agricultural practices. As true community leaders, they employ their keen business sense for the benefit of their people, supporting each other along every step of the journey from farm to market.
Alfonso Ramos, one of our Guama Danta producers, has been cultivating coffee since the 1960s. He shares his wealth of expertise with farmers in remote areas of Comayagua to help them access the market and negotiate fair prices for their work.
