University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum is proud to announce a new annual, national art competition, the Spark Award, and students ages 8 through 13.

This week in the Mazza Museum, we welcomed a group of students participating in an exchange program from the University of Fukui in Japan! The students are education majors, here for one month, to experience and observe our educational system. Our Education Manager, Kristine, walked them through the galleries teaching them how we use the original artwork from picture books to promote literacy when students are here for a school tour.

Come see us Wednesday, September 2 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at the Hancock County Fair! It is "Explore the 4-H’s—Heart" day and we will be in the Youth Pavilion with a small craft.

The Mazza Museum mourns the loss of Dolly Parton, the creative powerhouse and artistic icon who made our world a better place. An advocate for literacy, her Imagination Library has provided more than 20 million free books to Ohio children. We are proud to honor Dolly's legacy, and encourage you to sign your children up or donate to the program here:

It was a gorgeous day on campus this week for the annual Student Organization Fair! Mazza staff loved getting to connect with all of the amazing student clubs and organizations. We look forward to collaborating with them for volunteer opportunities, tours, educational events, and more.
