Today we honor Juneteenth, a day of reflection, celebration, and recognition of freedom and resilience in our nation’s history.

The Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River is open today and welcoming families for a day of learning and play as we join our community in recognizing the significance of Juneteenth. ❤️💚

The Old Colony & Fall River Railroad Museum, Inc. is open today from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.🚂🚇🚉
Admission to the model train layout is only $3 per person.
Admission to the full museum and model train layout is $10 per person.
Stay cool and come play the day away!
The museum is open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Stop in for a visit! If only visiting our museum and not the The Children's Museum of Greater Fall River there is a $3.00 fee p.p. the winter section is gone, starting on new scene.
The railroad history from 1847 are displayed in our cases as well as pictures of the old railroad stations that were once in our area.

🚀 Build, Imagine & Explore! 🚀

Reserve one of our Imagination Playground Challenge Kits and put your engineering skills to the test! Available Wednesday–Friday from 3:00 PM–4:30 PM, these hands-on kits invite children and families to create, build, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life using soft building blocks and accompanying building books.

Each kit combines literacy, creativity, and STEM learning, encouraging young engineers to think critically, experiment with design, and discover that there is more than one way to solve a problem. Whether you’re building a rocket, designing a creature, or inventing something entirely new, every creation begins with imagination!

🌱✨ Our garden is growing in a new direction this year! Alongside our vegetables, we’ve planted colorful perennials, fragrant herbs, and a few favorite veggies to inspire young gardeners and their families. We hope our little garden sparks big ideas and encourages everyone to dig in and grow something of their own this summer! 🌼🪴🥕
