Fall River Museum of Contemporary Art The Fall River Museum of Contemporary Art is a contemporary art 501(c)3 nonprofit located at 44 Troy St. in Fall River, MA.

FR MoCA hopes to exist in a perpetual state of experimentation seeking to question how Art institutions can best serve their host communities. We hope to tether together opportunities with global partners to illuminate the shadows of our post industrial beacon and allocate cultural resources to a city in need. Our goal is to create culturally relevant programming that is in dialog with the global

contemporary art world, while engaging regional histories and shared experiences. We seek to make decisions based on the social ecology of our wonderful and diverse city, providing time and space for the existing communities and future residents of Fall River and greater south coast region.

A full day for young artists, producers + musicians to make music, work directly with industry professionals, experience a real recording session, and learn how careers in music actually get built.

Featuring a special beat-making showcase with Grammy-nominated producer AraabMuzik (Abraham Orellana) + guest artists, producers and creative professionals.

Hosted by Bugatte Life + Harry Gould Harvey IV, presented by Million Dolla Music + Mass Cultural Council at FR MoCA.

If Hammers don’t Ham? What do they do?

FR MoCA presents an artist talk with Joel Dean and Viktor Timofeev in conjunction with CITADEL, curated by Cory John Scozzari of

Starting with how we collectively come to understand “the map is not the territory” as a loose point of departure, the conversation will move through language, maps, games, performance, alphabet systems, early works, side jobs, and the strange ways artists build systems for navigating place.

The talk will consider how artists use language, how language renders place, and how maps, diagrams, and invented systems become part of an art practice.

The event will begin with a short introduction to CITADEL, followed by a conversation with the artists and an open structure for images, materials, and discussion.
