🎨 Elizabeth Catlett (1915-2012) was born in Washington D.C., and based in Mexico. Through print and sculpture, Catlett advances social causes while giving voice to communities often silenced while archiving their strength. She believed art should serve people—helping communities see themselves, understand one another, and imagine what is possible. That belief resonates deeply with the work we do. We strive to make our museum a place where our community feels welcome, inspired, and connected. From our programs to exhibitions, the Biggs continues to grow beyond a place to see art, but as a space for everyone to gather, learn, and recharge.

These are the initiatives we are kindly asking you to support. For those of you who have been inspired by art and community experiences, please consider helping us bring art to all in our community. Even small donations have a BIG purpose 🖤
