We’re making custom keychains this weekend, and you get to design yours from scratch! This Sunday, learn how to create your own custom 3D-printed keychain with your name or a word of your choice! You’ll learn the basics of Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly design program, and create a two-color design. No 3D design experience needed!

Shout out to The 302 on Me TV 2 !! Since our recent segment on the show, we've welcomed lots of new visitors and sold more art! 🥹

These lovely ladies made the trip from Wilmington to check out our space after seeing us on The 302, and left with two beautiful new pieces for their homes! 😍 We also had a visit from a longtime viewer who purchased these two paintings straight from our window display. One of them, The Lighthouse, is by a newer DAL member, so we were extra excited to help make that sale happen for her! 🥳

And of course, we can't forget our star employee Kierra, who painted this amazing firefly piece! She's officially sold both of her pieces, making her 2 for 2! 😮 Not a bad track record for a young artist!

Thank you to everyone who visits, shops, and supports the DAL and our local artists. Every sale makes a difference, and we're so happy to see more people discovering the amazing art in our community! 🫶🎨

✨New on view in The Holden Gallery! Bridges of Miyagi: A Delaware Exchange✨

29 years of friendship, cultural exchange, and connection between Delaware and Miyagi Prefecture, Japan!

🎉 EXHIBITION RECEPTION
Friday, November 6th | 6–7:30 PM

This exhibition highlights the vital importance of cultural exchange programs by weaving together a diverse tapestry of cross-cultural connections. The collection showcases unique perspectives from three distinct generations of travelers (students, teachers, and parents) expressed through a mix of photography, digital art, drawing, and collage. Visitors will see the journey of discovery and friendship through the eyes of participating students from Polytech, Campus Community, Capital, and Appoquinimink High Schools, alongside the deep educational and heritage insights of their teachers. Complementing these stories are the reflections of parents, who emphasize the power of community and the deeply personal "host family" experience.

The Member Art Gallery refresh is (finally, mostly) complete! 😍

It may have taken us 5 years, but it's only because our members gave us so many beautiful works of art! 😉 And to be honest, there is more on the way. 😅 But the member art gallery is ever-changing anyway, we just like to do a big overhaul a few times a year.
