We have three great partner organizations who are coming to Ike's History Festival Friday, September 4th only: Red River Groundwater Conservation District, Bluestem Master Naturalists, and Denison Public Library. So swing by and learn more about water conservation and geocaching or grab a book for sale from the Denison Public Library (book featured in the graphic).

$3 per person; children under 6 are free.

A big welcome back to San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site. This year they're bringing a new activity: Dress Like A Texian or Mexican. So stop by this Friday or Saturday to visit their booth and learn more about Texas history and even get dressed up.

We are pleased to welcome the Charles and Mary Ann Goodnight Ranch State Historic Site for their first year at Ike's History Festival! Come by to learn more about the site and try some hands-on activities related to the bison.

Ike's History Festival is hosted on Friday, September 4th and Saturday, September 5th from 10-3:30. Admission is $3 per person (children under 6 are free).

Did you know there's a museum in Texas that focuses solely on the Pacific Theater during WWII? National Museum of the Pacific War will be joining us for Ike's History Festival! Come by and learn more about the Pacific during WWII, Chester Nimitz, and maybe even get hands-on with uniform pieces and gear.

Fort McKavett will be joining us again this year for both fun-filled days of the festival! Learn about the telegraph and how it connects McKavett to Denison.

Don't forget, admission for the event is $3 per person with children under 6 free! When you arrive at the site for the event, just swing by the Visitor Center to purchase your wristband.
