Tylosaurus rex is a newly identified species of apex predator that ruled the ancient inland sea covering what is now Texas more than 80 million years ago.

What was Perot Museum like in the ’90s? 💭

Back then, it wasn’t just one museum — it was three separate Dallas institutions: the Dallas Museum of Natural History, the Science Place, and the Dallas Children’s Museum. In 2012, they merged to become the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Victory Park.

Today, we’re celebrating 90 years since the founding of the Dallas Museum of Natural History and honoring how far the Museum has come along with the educators, scientists, and community leaders who helped create a home for science learning right here in Dallas. 💚🥳
