I am a painter, originally from French-speaking Belgium, and have lived in Dallas, Texas, for the past 25 years. I began drawing and painting at a young age, blooming with oil on canvas landscapes and flowers in the late '90s, subsequently falling in love with Texan sunsets. I've embarked on a renewed creative path with acrylics and mixed media. Inspiration flows from everyday strolls, particularl

y around White Rock Lake, capturing landscapes in all seasons, with a special fascination for sunsets and occasionally, sunrises. Each painting is a personal journey—from the initial glimpse on-site or a reference picture to creating my unique vision until the final brushstroke. Using top-tier professional paint with rich pigments, I meticulously finish the edges, ensuring a continuum of the painting. Most pieces feature glossy or semi-glossy varnish and a UV-protection clear coat. I love playing with shadows, light, smooth blending, sharp knife strokes, textures, and high contrast, bringing each painting to life. I hope that looking at my art takes you on a unique journey every time you look at it!
