Something not entirely synonymous with the title, "Pirate Takeover" is the word love.

A great deal of love was shown on stage tonight by the volunteer organized singing group, "Proper Debauchery"

An immense amount of love was our incredible patrons listening to the music (despite those summer time bugs) partaking in intermission games, and overall enjoying a night of sea shanty shenanigans.

More photos to follow-but a heartfelt thank you to all involved that made tonight a HUGE success. Without you, we wouldn't be here.

Tonight is the night for singing swashbuckling shenanigans! The Proper Debauchery Pirates takeover at 7pm!

Garden gate opens at 6pm! Drop anchor 'round the fire and be ready for fun like you've never had before!

Tickets by donation only and of course bring your own blanket or chair, dinner, buried treasures, or whatever you fancy!

One last sneak peak of rehearsal with Proper Debauchery before their concert in the gardens!

Come one, come all, come pillage and plunder with your favorite blankets and lawn chairs in your best pirate (or comfortable) attire!

Saturday, August 15th, garden gate opens at 6pm and music begins at 7pm.

Tickets are by donation only. If you can spare a dollar or two-we'd be appreciative. All proceeds contribute to the ongoing preservation efforts at the museum.

Today is the day and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate the 250th with everyone.

Where are you going to be tomorrow?

At 63 East Main Street, The Adam Stanton House of course!

Join us for Clinton's 250th Celebration as we honor the history of our country.

All day we have first floor tours of the home, signing of our time capsul, face paint, yard games, cotton candy, bake sale, and so much more. 11:00 enjoy live music courtesy of Chester Fife & Drum Corps

Visit us around 1pm with some friends, family, or make some news friends here while we play team games. Tug of water, water balloon toss, pie eating contest, potato sack races, and more. Prizes available for all our games! Meet our community partners like Eastern Connecticut Paranormal Society in the gardens while you enjoy lunch from in town or from our bake sale.

Don't forget to also visit our neighbors next door at The First Church of Christ Congregational for their vendor fair, our colleagues at Clinton Historical Society for their open house, or our friends Clinton Placemakers at the 1630 house.

Just a small glimpse into the group performing on August 15th for the Pirate Takeover!

Proper Debauchery met up at to rehearse before the event and filled our halls with their music for the evening.

We will see you all real soon as this group gets ready to grace the garden stage!

Visitors welcome by 6pm, music begins by 7pm and all tickets are purchased via pay what you can donation. Come dressed in your favorite pirate garb and enjoy.

Rain went away and sunshine prevailed! Come visit us at 63 East Main Street for a by donation only outdoor concert featuring The Wandering Fiddles.

We're proud to host our FIRST Music by Firelight! An under the stars, live music, campfire and fun evening with The Wandering Fiddles.

Tickets are by donation only, whatever you can spare we'd be appreciative! Smores kits will also be available for purchase.
