November 9, 2013 we got the keys! 11 years ago, Billy, Rich and I came together to create an inclusive space that was fun and exciting for artists and patrons alike. Years of work, time and money went into building something I am extremely proud of. There have been numerous shows over the years that allowed new artists a space to get their feet wet, and experienced artists a place to continue their craft. We battled through the recession and COVID and so many other obstacles. There are more accomplishments than I can list and all 3 of us worked extremely hard to get e11even 2 through some very dark times. We had so much fun along the way!
As they say, all good things come to an end. I have decided it is time to step away from e11even 2 and move in a new direction. This was not a decision that I took lightly and was not easy by any means. It has consumed much of my thoughts and caused many sleepless nights over the last several months. However, I know it’s time for a new adventure.
At the end of the day, I’m beyond proud of this gallery, my growth as an artist and business owner, and my friends, Billy and Rich. And don’t worry, the Best Damn Gallery, e11even 2, won’t be going anywhere! They will continue to hold shows every Third Friday, just without my smiling face behind the counter every month.
I will continue my partnership through the end of 2024. There are 8 events left in November and December to come by to show your love and support. All of my work will be discounted so help make my move a little lighter! Thank you for making my dreams come true for over a decade. Please continue to shop local, support artists and make others dreams a reality!
