HAPPY JUNETEENTH from the Bronzeville Children’s Museum! On this day in 1865, 250,000 slaves in Texas had been informed of their freedom (although they had already been emancipated two years prior and know one told them)! Today we Celebrate and Commemorate ♥️🖤💚✊🏽
