We are pleased to announce representation of British painter David Williams-Bulkeley.

A self-taught artist influenced by William Nicholson, Adriaen Coorte, Rembrandt, and Manet, Williams-Bulkeley has devoted his practice to the still life, exploring the poetry of light, texture, and form in the objects of everyday life. His work has been exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the New English Art Club, and has earned a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic.

Happy birthday to our artist Nick Lamb!

“My interest in the natural world is the primary force driving my work. My aim is to capture the essence of the subject through expression and movement in a realistic form, but one that is sculpture, not a mannequin.” — Nick Lamb

Nick Lamb is one of the most celebrated netsuke carvers outside Japan, with work held in museums across the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan.

Now on view: Joan Savo & Gwynn Murrill

“I begin working in terms of light and dark, warm and cool. Then I keep working up until the colors react or oppose one another a certain way, the composition having been established from the beginning. When painting, I feel like Zoot Sims sounds playing jazz, with a free, soaring emotion and large reckless tangents nesting in the stream of action.” — Joan Savo, 1978

Featured works:
Untitled (1980), oil on canvas, 72 x 60”, Joan Savo
Untitled (1978), oil on canvas, 47 x 46”, Joan Savo
With Cat Washing (2025), bronze, edition 4/9, Gwynn Murrill

Introducing encaustic works by Carmel artist Tracey Adams ✨

For over 25 years she has worked in one of the world‘s oldest painting mediums, heating pigmented beeswax, fusing it with a torch, and adding collage to the surface. The result is color that glows from within and texture that invites touch.
