TENfold Gallery is a contemporary art space in Buffalo, NY, dedicated to supporting artists, fostering dialogue, and expanding access to art as part of everyday life.

Something meaningful is taking shape at TENfold Gallery, and we would love for you to celebrate it with us.

On Saturday, May 30, we officially launch The Raft Residency, a new artist residency program created in partnership with Mirabo Press and developed in honor of Elisabeth Samuels, whose belief in artists and creative community continues to inspire so much of what we do.

This residency is designed to support artists more deeply through time, space, mentorship, production support, and opportunities to create and share new work. It reflects our commitment to building long-term investment in artists and Buffalo’s creative future.

The evening will also include:
• A special documentary film premiere connected to Monument and Memory
• A first look at the future of The Raft Residency
• Artist conversations and community gathering
• Time to experience the exhibition at TENfold Gallery

This project has been nearly a year in the making, and it means so much to finally share it with all of you.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, chosen family members, caregivers, and nurturing souls helping raise the next generation, whether they have two legs or four. 💛

To the people balancing bedtime stories, dog walks, hard conversations, packed lunches, community care, creative work, and the daily effort of making the world a little kinder and more beautiful, thank you.

The love, patience, and care you pour into others shapes more than homes. It shapes communities. Happy Mother’s Day to all the maternal beings raising human and fur babies alike. 🐾✨

Today is World Collage Day and we’re celebrating at TENfold Gallery from 12–4 PM with an open, drop-in collage workshop for all ages. ✂️✨

Thank you to everyone who continues to support these community-centered creative moments, and a special thank you to artist Jacob Kedzierski for helping bring today’s workshop to life.

We are also deeply grateful to Mitch Nowakowski and the Zemsky Family Foundation for supporting our free workshop programming and helping make opportunities like this accessible to the community.

Whether you stay for ten minutes or the whole afternoon, we hope you’ll stop by, make something, meet someone new, and celebrate the power of creativity and connection with us.

Last night’s collage workshop carried that same spirit, a room full of people coming together to create, explore, and see in new ways.

This is what it looks like when a space is truly open.

And we are just getting started.

Not every photograph in Monument & Memory was made inside DJ Carr’s time with Juan Bordes.

Some come from elsewhere, moments across Europe that expand the story and offer a wider view into DJ’s way of seeing.

We believe in showing the full rhythm of an artist’s practice as often as we can.

We’re open today and tomorrow, 12–4. Grab a coffee from Sevens , browse the exhibition, and spend some time with the ever-evolving Connector Gallery featuring 25 different artists.

Last night’s collage workshop was everything we hope these gatherings can be, a room full of people of all ages and backgrounds, coming together to make, to share, and to connect.

Strangers became collaborators. Conversations flowed as easily as the scissors moved. Each piece was different, but the feeling was the same, creativity as a bridge between us.

This is why we do it. Art not just as something to look at, but something to experience side by side.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We can’t wait to do it again. ✨

Weekend Update

Because of the St. Patrick’s Day parade and road closures, TENfold Gallery will be open by appointment today.

We’ll be open tomorrow from 12–4 PM and would love to see you.

As we keep building this space, we’re curious:

When are you most likely to visit a gallery?
Weekend afternoons? Evenings? By appointment?

We want our hours to reflect when our community actually has time to see art.

This new space is rooted in community engagement, accessibility, and reinvestment in Buffalo’s creative ecosystem. We are honored to bring this vision to life in the Old First Ward.
