Last week was the opening for Imaginal Stitching by Barbara Murak! On display until October 24th, Barbara’s work focuses on making art via stitching and thread-work. We had such a good crowd last week, come stop by and see the works everyone is raving about!

With Erin Long’s exhibition ending today, here is a highlight from her lovely stay with us! Erin’s “Seven Doll Series” consists of several ceramic dolls, with names inspired by the Seven Dwarves of Snow White fame. “Boss,” “Hopeful,” “Merry,” “Dreamy,” “Fancy,” “Lazy,” and “Steady” gaze through and around the gallery, staring at the rest of their creator’s art. Each figure is brightly colored and distinctly patterned, they can represent viewers in the gallery, looking at Erin’s work in imperfection. They can see themselves in the art they regard, as we can see ourselves in her work as well

Our members exhibition is OPEN!! Come celebrate the amazing supporters and artists of our HUNT Gallery community! All of our members submitted their works in the weeks prior to our opening on August 6th. The exhibition closes on September 12th, so make sure to stop by and give appreciation to all of our wonderful artists!

This painting is by one of our gallery members, Keri Manne! Our members here at the gallery have all submitted their own pieces for our member’s exhibition running from August 6th to September 12th.

Titled “Sofia”, this painting is an impressive size at 3x4 feet. The dynamic pose and excellent use of contrast within the piece make for a truly striking image. Due to the domestic space in the background and the flash effect in the lighting, the scene feels even more immersive. It’s almost as if the viewer is the one taking the photo! This work shows strong expertise in both color and composition, and it is very well done. Thank you, Keri Manne!
