The presentation will take place at the Stafford Town Hall on Wednesday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. It is completely free and features rare archival photographs and historic regional map displays detailing the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's local footprint!

A big thank you to everyone who came out to help last Thursday as we were able to finish the preparation of the site at the Heritage DiscoveRY Center Buffalo for the delivery of the D&H boxcar being donated by Norfolk Southern.

The sunny day was tempered by the lake breezes that helped keep the volunteers from overheating.

Thanks go to Caryl Youngers, Marty Visciano, Greg Lund, Mark Klepadlo, Jim Morrisey, Jackson Henneberry, Chuck Drumstra and John Falcone for their help.

We expect the boxcar will be delivered within the coming week.

***HELP NEEDED***
This D&H Boxcar is being generously donated to our society. We will use it as a workshop and for equipment storage. That said, we are looking for volunteers to come out this Thursday, July 23rd, at 10am to help lay ties at 100 Lee St., Buffalo, NY 14220. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tonight 7/16/2026 at 7:00 pm, we will take a look at the American Freedom Train that passed through WNY Fifty years ago.
So be sure to come to the Heritage DiscoveRY Center Buffalo at 100 Lee Street, Buffalo NY 14210 to view the photography of John M. Marriott and others from the Archives of the WNYRHS.
Doors open at 5:00 pm and the program starts at seven.

Open to the public, all are welcome to enjoy this Red, White and Blue presentation!
