Updated spring reading group schedule! 📖
Next up on May 21, we’ll be discussing Anne Carson’s 1998 verse novel Autobiography of Red. This acclaimed work is a contemporary reimagining of the “Geryoneis,” a fragmentary Ancient Greek lyric poem.
Then, on June 4, we’ll close out the semester with “Mechanical Arts and the Promotion of the Anonymous,” a chapter from political philosopher Jacques Rancière’s 2004 book The Politics of Aesthetics.
Read ahead (or don’t!) and join us for our open discussions. We gather at 6:30 pm and begin at 7 — hope to see you there 👀
