Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York TSA New York is an artist-run, artist-curated exhibition space located in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

TSA New York is an artist-run, artist-curated exhibition space located in Bushwick, Brooklyn and part of the Tiger Strikes Asteroid network of artist-run spaces. TSA New York seeks to invite a dialogue between an eclectic mix of artists and curatorial visions with a focus on emerging artists from New York and beyond. Our exhibitions have been featured in numerous print and online publications incl

uding L Magazine, Bushwick Daily, Artinfo, Artnet News, Beautiful Decay, and the New York Times. Tiger Strikes Asteroid is a network of artist-run spaces with locations in Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles. Each space is independently run and focuses on exhibiting a varied program of emerging and mid-career artists. Our goal is to collectively expand connections among artists and build community by bringing them together through exhibitions and curatorial opportunites.

Tiger Strikes Asteroid New York and Transmitter Gallery would like to announce important news regarding the Winter 2027 TNT Residency Open Call, a joint venture by our two galleries. 

The application deadline for the Winter 2027 TNT Residency has been extended to Friday, September 18th, at 11:59pm. All other details remain the same. 

Additionally, we are offering a TNT Zoom Information Session on Tuesday, September 1st, from 8:30-9:30pm. During this session we will cover information concerning the residency as well as answer your questions.

Tiger Strikes Asteroid NY and Transmitter are excited to announce the Winter 2027 TNT Residency, a 6-month fully funded 430 square foot studio adjacent to both galleries at 1329 Willoughby Avenue, culminating in a solo exhibition or open studio event within the studio space.
The winter residency will commence on Saturday, January 9, 2027 and end on Sunday, June 20, 2027.
