Each year, I try to add a handmade element to my holiday gift giving, whether it's knitting something for a family member; baking something for teachers; or creating a personalized fabric ornament for a friend. This is my second year of officially teaching workshops to share the craft, and it has been quite a fun adventure! In 2025, I taught 38 students through six classes*. So far in 2026, I've already taught 15 students through four classes ... and it's not even autumn yet! Here is my class line up for October through December so far (yes! there may be more in the works!).
Thankful for Gather Here Stitch Lounge, Maxima Gift & Book Center and Maxima Hive, and Arlington Community Education for fitting my class into their schedules. Hope you can join me at one of them this fall - and if you've taken one with me before, come back! Make another ornament to give away as a gift or to use different fabric this time. It's always a joy sharing a fun technique!
