We have a great weekend ahead of us! Our yard sale will be great, and there is still time to pre-register for our first monthly Game Night At The Museum on Monday Night!

Come out and find treasures while supporting our museum during the great weather Saturday! This is part of the 23rd Annual Historic National Road Yard Sale Festival taking place from Baltimore to St. Louis this week. We will have a list available with several other area yard sales.

Bring your favorite games and your friends and enjoy chips and sodas and a night of board games and card games on Monday. Any PG13 or G games welcome to this event to teach and enjoy. Some popular and retro board games and playing card decks available for use provided by the museum. Pre-registration is $8, $10 at the door, and a discount for Museum members! Reserve a table for $15 and control what game is played, or reserve our theater to bring your video game system to show off or play party games on the museum's 65" screen.

Learn more about game night and get preregistration tickets at https://nationalrdfoundation.org/event/game-night-at-the-museum/

Saturdays are a great day for a road trip! The National Road Museum and Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum are open every Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00: two museums, one tour!

Did you know that the museums in Boonsboro provide social studies and civics students from area schools an opportunity to earn their volunteer service hours?

Each weekend, Boonsboro High School students help to give some of our tours, offering them more experience in public speaking and with their retention of the historical information in our exhibits. Consider visiting and asking for a high school student tour!

Our museums are located at 214 North Main Street in Boonsboro, Maryland, a road also known as alternate Route 40, and as the Historic National Road Scenic Byway! Admission is by donation.

Boonsboro is Home to unique shopping and dining experiences, Maryland's only cavern tour, and not far from Antietam National Battlefield, Washington Monument State Park, and the many other historic sites and museums across Washington County.
