Today is the last scheduled day to visit the Boonsboro trolley Station Museum in 2023.

We will be open 1:00 to 4:00 today, and while in town you can visit other museums in the area which will be open for similar hours including the Boonsboro Historical Society MD's Bowman House Museum, Boonsborough Museum of History , And the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum .

The Boonsboro Historical Society MD Bowman House Museum, the Boonsborough Museum of History and the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum are all nearby and will be open similar hours! Make a rainy Sunday into a museum day!

Just a reminder: the Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum will be open with extended hours during the Town of Boonsboro, Maryland Food Truck Festival!

THIS SUNDAY - September 3, 2023 - 12 Noon - 6PM

The 3rd annual Boonsboro Food Truck Festival will be bigger than ever with 24 trucks and roaming entertainment. Enjoy 6 hours of live music, a beer/wine/cocktail garden and the chance to indulge in some friendly competition โ€“ whether you like throwing axes, tossing corn hole bags or pulling in the garden tractor pull! There will be FREE FUN for the whole family including giant yard games, kids music activities and a K-9 demonstration.

No ticket needed - NO ADMISSION FEE to attend!
The festival takes place RAIN OR SHINE.

There will be registration fees for the garden tractor pull and corn hole tournament (registration available same day). Axe throwing tickets may be purchased at the Volunteer Check-In table. All other activities are FREE.

12PM - 6PM Beer, Wine & Craft Cocktail Garden

PARKING: Scouts BSA Troop 2119 will provide PARKING this year for a donation. All proceeds go toward a trip the Scouts are taking later this year. Look for parking signs near both entrances to Shafer Park.

The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum will be open during the National Night Out in the Town of Boonsboro, Maryland, which is taking place at Shafer Park.

Our local Police, Fire and Rescue Departments will be in attendance to promote community awareness and public safety with demonstrations and fun activities for children. Activities will be provided to the public, free of charge, thanks to donations made by area businesses that help support our community!!

๐Ÿš—๐Ÿฆฝ PARKING - The Community Center parking lot near Pavilion #1 will be reserved for Handicapped Parking ONLY and the field behind Alex's and the Laundromat will be open for parking, with access from Stouffer Avenue.

Monday, July 3rd is Town of Boonsboro, Maryland Boonsboro Independence Day Celebration. The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum will be open from 5:30 - Fireworks!

Come down and visit the museum, then enjoy food, music and other activities at Shafer park before fireworks at 9pm!

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend with the family? Come down to the Boonsboro trolley Station Museum on Sunday! The Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum is atthe entrance to Shafer Park, where you will find the Boonsboro carnival supporting the Boonsboro Fire Department! The Museum will be open Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. or later, when the rides open at the carnival. At 2:00, the Boonsboro Memorial Day parade will also be taking place, and you can watch the parade from the trolley platform.

We will be open from 11-4 on Sunday May 21st. Come visit the newly renovated museum and then sit on our porch and watch the wagon train pass by on their way to the celebration and close of this three day parade which is held at Shafer Park just behind the trolley station!

The wagon train departs Clear Spring Friday and will pass through Hagerstown on Saturday. They are due to arrive in Boonsboro around 12:30 pm on Sunday.
