The Southern Environmental Center’s Interactive Museum is the only museum of its kind in the nation: an interactive sustainability museum built from recycled materials and constructed inside a repurposed college swimming pool. The Southern Environmental Center’s Interactive Museum is a 52,000 square foot exhibition and meeting space housed inside the old natatorium on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College.

Come learn about glass recycling! Glass Half Full is a glass recycling company based in New Orleans with a new warehouse in Birmingham that crushes glass bottles into sustainable sand. Learn about the history and growth of GHF as well as their expansion into Birmingham.
