Southern DanceWorks presents a one-night panel discussion exploring the making of James Baldwin: A Letter to My Nephew and the world premiere of Erika Wade’s documentary.

This intimate evening invites audiences into a powerful conversation on Black male identity, responsibility, and Baldwin’s call to live with courage, truth, and love.

While Baldwin spoke directly to Black men, his message ultimately calls on all people to embrace empathy, human dignity, and universal love.
