We are thrilled to announce Linsey Reardon as our new Arts, Culture, and Education Coordinator! Linsey originally joined our team from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and has already made a wonderful impact on The Discovery Center's Gallery team.

In her new position, Miss Linsey will lead the way in bringing engaging, creative, and educational experiences to our visitors, students, and community. Last month, The Discovery Center and the Ross Park Zoo hosted a special Community Day, offering free admission to thousands of visitors at the Ross Park Campus.

This wonderful event was made possible thanks to our generous sponsor, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. We also extend a huge thank you to the Binghamton Police Department for managing traffic control and public safety throughout the day, and to Broome County Transit for providing convenient trolley rides from offsite parking.

We currently have 4 spots available in our play-based preschool classroom. In this program, children develop and grow through playful activities set among The Discovery Center’s engaging and dynamic hands-on exhibits!

🚌 Kids Club (Afterschool Program for Grades K–5)
We also have a few spots open for our afterschool Kids Club! Our program offers engaging and fun learning experiences for your child all through the lens of play. We provide a safe and exciting environment where children can explore, grow, and have fun!

🚚💨 What an absolute horn-honkin’ success Truck Day was at The Discovery Center!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and joined the fun, as well as all the fantastic folks who brought their trucks and specialty vehicles for the kids to climb aboard and explore! 🚛🚒🚜

As a lifelong area resident, Kate brings both deep local roots and a personal connection to our mission, having spent countless hours exploring the center with her two sons—including memorable summers with our camp program.
