Nominations are now open for the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum’s 2026 Heritage Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame recognizes the people, businesses, tradesmen, fishermen, captains and boats that have played an important role in the maritime and seafood history of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Nominations are accepted in the following categories:

• Boat Owner / Captain / Commercial Fisherman
• Commercial Seafood Processing Company
• Supporting Industry Tradesman
• Boat Name

Nominees should have at least 10 years of involvement in the maritime or seafood industry, depending on the category.

The deadline has been extended to **December 1, 2026**.

Applications should include a completed nomination form, résumé or work history, photographs or other supporting documentation, and a letter of recommendation.

Applications may also be delivered to the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum at 115 1st Street in Biloxi or mailed to P.O. Box 1907, Biloxi, MS 39533.

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen all spots are filled and we are about to hit the ground running for another year. This years tournament will be held at hopefully our forever home for it at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi with the captains meeting at Dewy Dew Bugz the night before it’s gonna be big🤘🏻big thanks to all of our sponsors without you we can’t make this work.
