Every costume, photograph, throw, and treasured artifact has a story—and many of them began with a generous donation from someone who wanted to preserve our local Mardi Gras history.

Our collection continues to grow because of community members who believe these traditions deserve to be shared with future generations. Thank you to everyone who has helped make the museum what it is today.

Museum Hours:
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Saturday: By appointment (24-hour advance notice)
Admission:
• Adults: $8
• Seniors (60+), Military with ID & Students (18+ with valid ID): $7
• Children 12 & under: $5

From stunning royal gowns and historic artifacts to interactive exhibits, costume try-ons, scavenger hunts, and hands-on activities, there's something for visitors of every age to enjoy.

We are honored to announce that the Coastal Mardi Gras Museum has been awarded an operating grant of $11,220 from the Mississippi Arts Commission.

This funding helps us continue preserving the rich history and traditions of Mardi Gras on the Mississippi Gulf Coast while expanding educational opportunities and enhancing the visitor experience.

We are grateful to the Mississippi Arts Commission for investing in Mississippi's arts and cultural organizations, and we thank our members, volunteers, and community for making our mission possible.
