🎭 Mardi Gras fun all the way from Minnesota! 💜💛💚

We loved welcoming visitors from Minnesota to the Coastal Mississippi Mardi Gras Museum in Biloxi! They stopped by to experience a little of the Gulf Coast’s Mardi Gras magic and learn more about the colorful history and traditions of Carnival on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Tonight, members of the Coastal Mississippi Mardi Gras Museum gathered for our annual membership meeting! We had a wonderful evening sharing updates on the museum, what’s happening now, and all the exciting things ahead.

Members were also reminded of everything the museum has to offer and, most importantly, encouraged to invite new friends to become part of the fun! 🎉

✨ New members are always welcome! Whether you’re a lifelong Mardi Gras enthusiast or simply want to learn more about the traditions, history, and celebrations of Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast, there’s a place for you at the museum.

It was a fun night with great fellowship, and we’re looking forward to another year of celebrating Mardi Gras all year long on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! ⚜️🎭

Every costume, photograph, throw, and treasured artifact has a story—and many of them began with a generous donation from someone who wanted to preserve our local Mardi Gras history.

Our collection continues to grow because of community members who believe these traditions deserve to be shared with future generations. Thank you to everyone who has helped make the museum what it is today.

We are honored to announce that the Coastal Mardi Gras Museum has been awarded an operating grant of $11,220 from the Mississippi Arts Commission.

This funding helps us continue preserving the rich history and traditions of Mardi Gras on the Mississippi Gulf Coast while expanding educational opportunities and enhancing the visitor experience.

We are grateful to the Mississippi Arts Commission for investing in Mississippi's arts and cultural organizations, and we thank our members, volunteers, and community for making our mission possible.
