THE PAUL ROGERS GUMBALL IS HERE!
We’re excited to introduce a new collection of Paul Rogers-inspired gumball flash to the Baltimore Tattoo Museum!
For those who don’t know, Paul Rogers (1905–1990) was one of the most influential tattooers and machine builders in American tattoo history. After getting his first tattoo in 1926, Rogers began tattooing professionally and eventually spent five years working alongside the legendary Cap Coleman in Norfolk, Virginia. He went on to tattoo across the country, work with some of the era’s most respected tattooers, and become known for building exceptional tattoo machines. His Jacksonville, Florida workshop became known as the Iron Factory, where tattooers from around the world came to learn and work with him.
Rogers was also instrumental in the tattoo supply business, co-founding Spaulding & Rogers with Huck Spaulding, and his machines and designs have had a lasting influence on American Traditional tattooing. His extensive collection was later preserved through the Tattoo Archive and the Paul Rogers Tattoo Research Center, helping keep his part of tattoo history alive.
Now you get to put a little of that history on your skin!
