We hope to see you this Sunday at 3pm for this discussion on women's experiences in the American Revolution.

Digital preservation is a newer branch of preservation making sure your digital files are safe. This can cover both born digital materials or materials that have been digitized. It’s important that your digital archive adapts and changes with new technology so over time your files aren’t lost to obsolescence.

If possible, make sure you have multiple copies of your data through the 3-2-1 Rule with 3 copies of your data on 2 different media times and 1 copy offsite.

There are a ton of ways to store your collection. You can pick from boxes, folders, sleeves, and envelopes with tissue paper and writing utensils to help keep things organized.
You don’t even have to be an archivist to purchase these materials online. Most common storage solutions include archival boxes and photo sleeves, but each collection is unique and your needs may vary.
