This week! Thursday June 4, 2026 at 6pm ~ Artist Talk with anaplastologist Chelsea Lillo of SURFACE TENSION
Lillo’s work, grounded in her medical practice, involves creating custom prosthetics that restore both form and function. Her incredibly lifelike sculptures do more than replicate anatomy—they help individuals reclaim confidence, visibility, and a sense of belonging.
On view NOW at the Lyndon House Arts Center:
SURFACE TENSION- an exhibition that brings together two makers whose practices, while rooted in very different disciplines, meet in powerful and unexpected ways.
Textile artist Erika Diamond and board-certified anaplastologist Chelsea Lillo both work with their hands—through sewing, weaving, sculpting, and meticulous precision—to explore ideas of protection, identity, and the fragility of the human body.
Together, these artists invite us to consider how care, craft, and visibility shape our understanding of the body—its resilience, its needs, and its capacity for renewal.
We hope you’ll join us this Thursday, June 4, 2026 for a Lyndon House gallery talk with Chelsea Lillo.
