Thanks to all who came out to the studio for our beginner spooncarving class today! There was a great variety of designs, all from a single spoon blank. PS-did you know you can take home additional spoon blanks after class to keep experimenting? It’s the perfect activity for these long summer evenings! New class offering for August: handled charcuterie boards! Saturday August 29th from 9:30am-12:30pm: Design and create your own serving board made from local hardwood. This class is capped at five participants so be sure to pre-register soon if you are interested! Some basic woodworking experience is a bonus but not a requirement to participate. We also offer private group classes in spooncarving and charcuterie board making. Contact us via email or drop by during gallery open hours!

Have 24/7 access to a fully-outfitted shop space, office area, and kitchen and be part of a vibrant community of professional woodworkers. Our Saturday Spooncarving class is full but there are still spots available for Thursday March 19, 5-7:30pm! You can register by emailing us with your first and last name and phone number. These are our very first offerings but we’ll have more classes on the horizon for spring! Are there any woodworking skills you’ve been eager to learn??

🎊March Spooncarving Classes🎊

We are starting Beginning Spooncarving classes at Foundation Woodworks and the very first one is THIS Saturday, March 14 from 10am-12:30pm! We have a few spots left for Saturday and 8 spots left for our Thursday, March 19th class from 5pm-7:30pm. No materials necessary, pre-registration required, details below ⬇️

*Learn beginning Spooncarving techniques using hand tools and leave with your very own hardwood spoon
*Saturday 3/14, 10am-12:30pm

Thursday 3/19, 5pm-7:30pm

*$75 per participant

A million thanks to all who came to celebrate with us on Saturday!! 17 months we’ve looked forward to this day, when we could finally open our doors again for a big party. Hundreds of people got us to this point, and hundreds showed up last night: new and old friends, artists, locals, intrigued passersby, and lots of dogs 🐶 Thank you for bringing the love, joy, and support. We’re so excited for what this year holds for all the artists at Foundation Woodworks and this amazing arts community we’re proud to call home.
