The Lift is a historic building (constructed in 1907) in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Asheville. Having hardly been touched since it was built, an extensive renovation was required to up-fit it to be the home base, studio, and gallery of Daniel McClendon. The List Studios also serves as a special event space for anyone desiring an eclectic, artistic, and unique setting for their next party or event. All questions can be directed to [email protected]

I started over as an artist 15 years ago today. It’s been quite a ride that’s allowed me to paint some wild paintings, meet some incredible people, and prove that you don’t need to go the traditional route to find success in an unpredictable and confusing art world. Thank you to all those who’ve supported me in any way over the years. It’s been Magic and I look forward to keep moving on to new and exciting territory.
