Painting Journey ~ Singapore Everton Rd Conservation Street..
Half a street done at last! Capturing the peaceful garden feel of strolling down Everton Rd. Conservation may give it a tad too new shine, but the original architecture needs no embellishment for its innate beauty. As they say, the devil is in the details.. The more ref pics I see of each shophouse, the harder it is to decide what to include within the confines of the canvas composition. Videos may make it look easy but painting is a process that involves many many many planning decisions to be made along the way and oft trial and error - tedious but this makes it all the more satisfying when the end is reached ;p Ok, now for the other half street, fighting!
