From deep dives into the stories behind the art to soaking in the Nanyang Spirit with fellow students, this CAT Walk was a blast! ✨

Welcome to Singapore's largest gallery. (Well, that's what we like to think, at least.) 😉

NTU Museum is a museum without walls, which means our gallery isn't confined to one building. Instead, it stretches across the entire NTU campus, where art, architecture and heritage can be found around every corner

As custodians of NTU's art collection, we look after the artworks on campus and create opportunities for the community to engage with art through exhibitions, tours, workshops, installations and other programmes throughout the year.

So as you settle into a new term at NTU, take a closer look. You might discover that the mural you've walked past every day, the building you're studying in, or the sculpture tucked away in a corner has a story worth knowing.

Inspired by the shophouses of Little India, this artwork prompts you to think about how we work, live and see ourselves might shift in response to technological and socioeconomical changes.

What might everyday life look like tomorrow?

Drift Alley: An Inventory of Survival Economies by Dr. Debbie Ding transforms a row of conserved shophouses into a speculative catalogue of fictional businesses shaped by artificial intelligence, the metaverse and the rapidly changing nature of a digital future.

Displayed as a panoramic landscape inspired by Singapore's Little India, the artwork invites you to wander through reimagined shopfronts, raising questions about labour, identity and survival in response to technological and socioeconomic changes.
