Begonnen als een groothandel in aluminium lijsten is Frame Products, gedreven door een bijzondere passie voor kunst en het vakmanschap van het inlijsten, uitgegroeid tot een veelzijdige lijstenmakerij. Wij hebben de beschikking over een modern en compleet machinepark een zeer ervaren en deskundig team, waardoor wij goed kunnen inspelen op de meest uiteenlopende wensen van de klant. Frame Products

staat bekend om zijn hoogwaardig (innovatieve) inlijstwerk tegen een prima prijs en snelle levering. Onze producten vinden hun weg naar een grote diversiteit aan afnemers, waaronder vele kunstenaars, galerieën, musea en bedrijven in binnen- en buitenland. Naast het vakkundig inlijsten en het uitgeven van kunst kunt u bij ons ook terecht voor (inter)nationaal transport. Een of honderd stuks: elk ingelijst werk wordt door Frame Products op zorgvuldige wijze verpakt en vervoerd naar elk gewenst adres. Ook voor onze buitenlandse klanten verzorgen wij het transport, de arbeidsintensieve handling van het verpakken en tailormade bekistingen (conform de ISPM 15 norm), douane formaliteiten en dedicated deliveries.

Some of these prints are barely bigger than a postcard, a bare branch, a scattering of marks, a dried seed head.
Small, delicate, handmade work from Hans Bol's exhibition "ON MY DOORSTEP" at The Book End in Kobe.

The passe-partout here is deliberately wide. Not to make anything fit, but to give each print room. Space around a small, quiet image can matter more than the frame itself, letting the work read as intentional rather than lost against the wall.

"In situ"

Latin for "in its original place," a term borrowed from art and archaeology to describe a work shown exactly where it belongs.

Here, the honeyed tones of the orangutans echo the marble and warm wood of this interior almost perfectly.
And that's exactly why the frame goes the other way: a solid black moulding, chosen to contrast rather than blend, so the photograph holds its own on the wall.

Good framing knows when to match a space and when to push against it. 😉

Mixing and matching. 🔀

A wall of work by Jasper Krabbe. Different pieces, different sizes, framed in different frames. Little ties them together beyond the hand that made them.

It doesn't always have to match perfectly. Sometimes it's the imperfect combination that feels most satisfying.
Off standard, and better for it.

Sometimes in the box is better than out of it. 😉

This blazer of Johan Cruyff was framed in a plexiglass box, shown at the Moco Museum as part of the temporary exhibition marking 10 years since his passing. It hangs naturally on a hanger inside the frame. Protected, yet given air and space to breathe.

Protection doesn't have to mean putting something away. This frame keeps the blazer safe, while still giving it a place to be seen.

When we say we work almost old-fashioned, by hand, down to the smallest detail, we mean it literally. Even the back of the frame gets the same attention.

Through craftsmanship down to the smallest detail, we keep watch over quality and keep it, quite literally, in our own hands. So we can deliver it to the client with confidence, and without a doubt.

"Mother of Dolls," an exhibition by Martine Gutierrez at Huis Marseille. The work is a color explosion with real weight and depth. The work reaches out of the canvas instead of staying confined to its surface.

Where the artwork explodes, the frame stays quiet. It doesn't compete. It holds the edge, giving the piece a boundary to explode within.

Inspiration | This work by Kyra ten Brink (represented by Contour Gallery at Photo London this year) framed in a dark frame, finished with contrasting corner details.

We're fans of this one. "Rebirth of Eve", a graduation project by Madelon van Vredendaal that challenged us down to the smallest detail.

One artwork, made up of many small pieces in different sizes and shapes, all fitting together perfectly.
A puzzle as much as a piece of art.
