Some artworks reveal themselves gradually.

In Aqua Height, Didier Engels transforms details from the maritime world into a refined abstract composition, where texture, coulour and surface take center stage. Inspired by ship hulls and shipping containers, his work explores the traces left behind by time, sea spray and the elements.

With a background in textile design and interior architecture, Engels has developed a distinctivr visual language in which photography moves beyond documentation. Everyday industrial surfaces become carefully composed works of contemporary art that invite viewers to slow down and look again.

Printer on baryta paper and finished with epoxy, Aqua Height, is available as a limited edition of just 8.

Built from thousands of carefully composed photographic fragments, the work embodies the artist's fascination with duality. Intimacy and distance. Individual
moments and collective narratives. Digital complexity and emotional resonance.

Through his innovative photomosaic practice, Moens de Hase encourages viewers to look beyond first impressions and discover the countless stories hidden beneath the surface.

With L'instant doré, Joël Moens de Hase explores the delicate interplay between light, memory and perception.

Thousands of photographic fragments converge into a composition that feels both contemporary and timeless.

The work reflects the artist's fascination with transformation: individual images lose their autonomy to become part of a larger visual narrative. This constant dialogue between detail and totality has become a defining characteristic of Moens de Hase's artistic practice.
