Botany of Belonging: Forests of Southeast Asia showcases the diversity of forest species of Southeast Asia, highlighting plants that are endemic and widely distributed across the region. Featuring more than 60 selected botanical artworks, the exhibition presents the work of botanical artists from across Southeast Asia. The ‘Botany of Belonging’ is organised and supported by Forest Learning Centre and Forest House Conservation.

Day 1 of Rimba Kehidupan at MAHA2026

Check out some shots from our first day at MAHA2026! Come swing by our space 'RIMBA KEHIDUPAN' and check out our outdoor exhibit, forest tree saplings, wildlife stamps, merchandises, forest fruits, and nature walks! 🌳 Of course we have some foods, drinks, and friendly staff and volunteers ready to greet you ✨

A little announcement ✨️

The FLC will be closed temporarily from 1 August until 13 September 2026 as to make way for an upcoming exhibition.

We will make announcements for any programs available during this hibernation period. Stamps are NOT available until further notice.

Sunday fun day with Forest Learning Centre here at Perdana Botanical Gardens 🌳

A great turn up! Last Sunday we hosted our very first free nature walk in the garden and about 50 participants joined the tour 🌞 We learnt about some of the common plants in the garden such as the oak leaf fern, monkey pot, cannnon ball; and including our native trees like the mata lembu and kapur. After the tour, we headed back to the learning centre and gave a short tour of our ongoing exhibition about forest fruits of Malaysia.
