🌿 Where Ink Meets Legacy — In the Headquarters of Kapitan Chung Thye Phin, aka Phin Kee Chan (平記棧)
Step into the built heritage where history still lingers in the air.
Held within Made In Ipoh museum @ Arlene House — the former headquarters of Kapitan Chung Thye Phin, The Last Kapitan of Perak and Malaya — this exhibition brings together past and present in a rare cultural heritage dialogue.
The Perak Lian Zhen Calligraphy Painting and Seal Society presents a curated showcase of members’ works in calligraphy, painting, and seal carving — three classical art forms rooted in centuries of Chinese heritage.
Once a figure of leadership, influence, and cultural stewardship, Kapitan Chung’s legacy now finds a quiet echo through ink and artistry. Within these walls, brushstrokes replace footsteps, and the spirit of tradition continues in a new form.
From powerful lines to delicate engravings, each work reflects discipline, time, and the enduring human pursuit of expression.
Whether you are drawn by history, art, or the atmosphere of a bygone era, this exhibition invites you to experience something deeper than display — a living connection between heritage and creativity.
📸 A rare opportunity to immerse yourself in culture, history, and timeless aesthetics — all in one place.
