Please help us welcome the newest addition to the Hidden Doorways collection: Zannier Hotels!
Zannier brings a distinctive sense of place to each of its destinations, whether it’s a private Mediterranean island, tented suites above the Namibian desert, or a village of Khmer-inspired villas set among Cambodian rice fields.
We’re thrilled to represent the brand’s six hotels, spanning France, Namibia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Founder Arnaud Zannier’s philosophy of “Mastered Simplicity” runs throughout, bringing a unified sense of understated luxury, thoughtful design, and experiences rooted in local culture.
✦ Leading the introduction is the newest addition: Zannier Île de Bendor, which opened in May following a five-year transformation of the Ricard family’s island off the coast of Bandol. Just a seven-minute boat ride from the mainland, its 93 rooms and suites share a car-free setting with an artisans’ village, lively restaurants, and the new Rēsonance wellness center.
✦ Zannier Sonop appears almost as a mirage: ten luxury canvas tents raised on granite boulders in the Namib Desert. Designed in the spirit of a 1920s expedition camp, it’s furnished with four-poster beds, colorful carpets, and polished brass.
✦ Zannier Omaanda pays tribute to traditional Ovambo architecture, with fifteen round thatched huts set within a 22,000-acre private conservation reserve in Namibia.
✦ Zannier Phum Baitang means “green village” in Khmer, and the name is meant literally. On the rural outskirts of Siem Reap, 45 stilted wooden villas sit among rice paddies and tropical gardens, close enough for sunrise visits to Angkor’s iconic temples.
✦ Zannier Bāi San Hô brings 73 standalone villas to a secluded coral bay in Vietnam, offering one of the country’s top beachside resort experiences.
✦ Zannier Le Chalet sits just above Megève, France, a ten-minute stroll from its cobblestone streets and village square. Twelve individually designed rooms and suites pair understated interiors with iconic mountain views.
