Thomas Hirschhorn presents the “POST” works in close proximity, rejecting any system of hierarchy or classification.
Their accumulation evokes the density of an ex-voto wall: a constellation of autonomous gestures that, through proximity and repetition, form a collective field. Each work remains distinct, while simultaneously contributing to a larger, unstable whole.

Biele’s research moves through the history of representation, not through direct quotation but through fragments and echoes.
By bringing peripheral vegetal elements to the foreground, the artist questions the hierarchies through which images have traditionally been constructed and viewed.

“We are all creations of God, and we have to de-create ourselves.”
In this new video, Thomas Hirschhorn talks about EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA, his sixth solo exhibition at Alfonso Artiaco.

Around 300 "POST "works, originally shared on Instagram, are brought into the physical space of the gallery and transformed through the tombola, a game that makes the digital tangible, unpredictable and accessible.

We are pleased to announce that Botto & Bruno are taking part in “Cortona On The Move 2026” with a new site-specific installation “Songs of a Lost World”, specially conceived for the occasion.

Created using the hand-collaged technique that is a hallmark of their practice, the large-scale wallpaper installation brings together approximately 900 photographs. Curated by Carola Allemandi, Botto & Bruno recreate an imaginary panorama by combining fragments of Italian urban suburbs from their archives with images of the industrial archaeology of Marghera, photographed by the artists in 1997. Together, these fragments form a plausible world, imbued with memories of eras that have truly passed.

The wallpaper installation will be on view until November 1st, 2026.

The garden is never entirely natural. It is shaped, cultivated, contained and reorganized. In storie del giardino, this tension extends from the paintings into the sculptural intervention, where the exhibition becomes a space of coexistence between organic processes and human construction.

“5 Chome 4-1 Ginza, Tokyo” is the first solo exhibition in Japan by the Brussels-based artist Ann Veronica Janssens at Ginza Maison Hermès Le Forum.
The use of the building’s address as the exhibition title demonstrates Janssens’s physical, sensory, and conceptual approach to the site. The works challenge the inherent nature of the space, manipulating time, light, and atmosphere to produce zones of physical instability and perceptual disorientation where it almost seems possible to escape what the artist calls the “tyranny of objects.”

For “EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA”, the works leave the digital space and enter the gallery, where they are brought together, physically encountered and made available through an entirely different logic: chance.

Each ‘Post’-work is numbered on the back in advance. Each exhibited ‘Post’-work can be purchased for 500 Euros, but the purchaser cannot choose the work. The purchaser must pick, without visibility, a numbered paper, and by chance will get the corresponding numbered work.
