Gallery Dotwalk and Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency are delighted to invite you to the preview of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚, opening as part of The Defence Colony Art Night on 21 Aug 2026.

Bringing together works from the Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency Collection, the exhibition reflects on the subtle shifts in perception that emerge through time spent at Ajitara. The works are connected by how artists experience light, and through it space and time.

Featuring works by Aji VN, Bhagyanath C., Digvijaysinh Jadeja, Gopikrishna, Gurdeep Brar, Mehja VS, K.M. Madhusudhanan, Parag Das, Ritwika Ganguly, Sanyukta Kudtarkar, Shiv Shankar, Souvik Majumdar, and S. Sudhayadas.

Gallery Dotwalk is pleased to invite you to “In the Quiet Between”, Mehak Garg’s first solo exhibition in Mumbai, opening at Gallery Maxima on 13 August with Art Night Thursday.

The exhibition brings together Mehak’s recent oil paintings and works on paper, continuing her engagement with intimate spaces, memory, architecture, and the quiet emotional registers of everyday life. Through figures placed in quiet, familiar spaces, she observes moments of stillness, withdrawal, and inward reflection. These suspended moments hold a subtle tension between presence and absence, closeness and distance, forming the emotional ground of In the Quiet Between.

Priyaranjan Purkait’s paintings blur the boundaries between painting and textile. Drawing from the techniques of fishing net making, repair, and Kantha stitching, he transforms pigment into a material that evokes the texture and rhythm of woven fabric. Rooted in the cultural and lived experiences of the fishing communities of the Sundarbans, his works become meditations on labour, memory, resilience, and the quiet act of mending.

We look back at ‘An Unlocated Window of Myself’, the exhibition that marked the beginning of Gallery Dotwalk’s journey in April 2022.

Curated by Premjish Achari, the exhibition brought together the works of Aman Khanna, Arjun Das, Chandrashekar Koteshwar, Chetnaa, Gigi Scaria, G. R. Iranna, Himani Gupta, Jagannath Panda, Manisha Gera Baswani, Pooja Iranna, Prerna Sharma, Ravinder Reddy, Sujith S N, and Sumedh Rajendran. Bringing together fourteen distinct artistic practices, the exhibition opened new ways of seeing, remembering, and engaging with contemporary art.

Looking back at this first chapter reminds us that every exhibition leaves a trace—one that continues to shape the way we think, exhibit, and engage with art today.
