In Mehak Garg’s paintings, the human figure becomes a way to explore the quiet complexities of being, feeling, and relating to others. Through muted colours and carefully considered spaces, she creates scenes that hold a sense of intimacy and estrangement at once, where gestures, silences, and the spaces between people become as significant as the figures themselves.
Her works invite us to look beyond what is visible and consider the emotional worlds that remain just beneath the surface.
