Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust The Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust is a registered charity whose aims and objectives are to collect, preserve and show archive cine films..

The Northamptonshire Film Archive Trust is run by a group of enthusiasts which has been running for more than 40 years. In that time its collection of film, projectors and related movie film equipment has increased. The collection has more than 5,000 reels of film, much of it amateur which has been handed over to the Trust. This is essential as we are able to preserve a moving social history of that time. As much of the film in our collection has been made by amateur cinematographers it is unique in being the only film taken from that particular viewpoint. Based at Chester House Estate, Wellingborough where we screen public shows a different times during the year as well as visiting clubs and organisations across the county giving members of the public an opportunity to discover/re-live aspects of life as it was in days gone by. The trust is run entirely by volunteers and we welcome offers from people who are willing to join us and help keep this archive alive.
