Even though it was incredibly hot today, we still went and laid our wreath as part of the 92nd. Proud to stand together and pay our respects. 🌺🇺🇸🇬🇧🫡

***Volunteers Needed***

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our attendance at several amazing and very high profile events in the UK this summer due to no volunteers. It's such a shame that we can't continue to get the word out and raise the profile of the museum project and tell the stories of the 92nd to a larger audience.

We need good people to take the mobile displays to events, chat to the public, access the digital archives and help answer questions about the 92nd and wider 8th Air Force. You'll get access to some wonderful events, get to meet so many passionate people from other organisations and be able to lose yourself in the archives for hours.

***Amended Tour Date***

We now have a new date for our postponed airfield museum fundraising tour. Sunday April 19th.

To make it even more special we're tying it in with a 1940s and 92nd themed event in Podington village where there will be live music, BBQ, guest speakers and a small airfield museum display.

The tour will consist of departing Podington village in WW2 vehicles, visiting the airfield site and returning to the village for the event.

All those who contacted us for the previous date will soon get an email, and anyone wishing to join on this one please register your interest by emailing [email protected]
