I have spent the weeks weathering rolling stock - around 80/90 vans and counting and now i am repairing locos ...
Is anybody interested in 5 inch gauge miniature railways? We are building one in Bushey. We have just completed the main loop of track about 80m long. If anyone has any 5" locos etc you are only too welcome to come and run on it our line. The minimum radius is 10ft (so not really suitable for 0-6-0) and the maximum incline is 1/50. We have a battery powered (Maxitrack Planet) loco and drivers truck.

It was nice to see so many people that I knew from over the years, Everyone who came seemed to enjoy themselves and the layouts were well received-It was a great exhibition though it was a shame the footfall appeared to be down .The club though continues to build layouts for exhibition purposes and the test track gets used on the 00 a fair bit on a Thursday evening.. The club has been asked to help the town council in Borehamwood &Elstree celebrate the arrival of the railway to the town and 3 of the club layouts are going to that on 16th June. -its a FREE exhibition in the Small Hall at 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood WD6 1EB

Later in the year we are also doing a club open-day in October- NOT at the Lincolnsfield site. But at another venue in Watford. Other than that club members themselves will be out and about with their layouts supporting other clubs with their exhibitions in a bid to continue to grow the hobby
